Partie occidentale du Canada ou de la Nouvelle France

From Canoes: A Natural History in North America by Mark Neuzil and Norman Sims

  • Nolin and Coronelli’s map is the first printed map to focus on the Great Lakes and Upper Mississippi Region. Its origin date is unclear, but it probably comes from the late seventeenth century. Much of the information for the map came from French missionaries of the era.
