"Owl and Rabbit" Embossed Stamp

  • At the top of a lined notebook page, a raised embossed stamp features an owl (looking to the right) riding a rabbit (looking and leaping to the left). The date is at the top left of the page: "March 6, Sunday." Below the image is the beginning of a journal entry: "Miss Higgs told me a story about a / woman here in Key West, one of the wealthier families..."
