Lapstrake Canoe

  • This lapstrake canoe could be paddled or sailed with a main and a mizzen, or one sail only. Called the American Traveling Canoe, with the name Keego, the 14-foot craft was built c. 1881–83 and is probably the oldest American-built decked sailing canoe in existence.
