Kennebec Canoe Catalog

From Canoes: A Natural History in North America by Mark Neuzil and Norman Sims

  • The Kennebec Canoe Company operated in Waterville, Maine from 1909 to 1941. Some features of Kennebec canoes were similar to Morris canoes. Walter D. Grant, who supervised the building at Kennebec, had worked for the Morris Canoe Company and hired other workers who learned from Bert and Charlie Morris.
