  • Photograph from the 1916 Kamerny Theatre revival of the 1913 Svobodny Theatre production of Pierrette's Veil. Pierrette (Koonen), her hair in braids, supports the dead Pierrot (Tseretelli), both lovers in all white. Pierrot was one of many roles that Tseretelli played opposite Koonen at the Kamerny.
